bday dinner

Just to let everyone know, I have this obsession with Paris, France. It has always been a lifelong dream of mine to go. I own tons of eiffel tower shirts, jewelry, notebooks, etc. Just about anything I see with the eiffel tower or anything to do with France on it I get it. So you have to imagine my reaction when my sis surprised me with this cake. I just about died and was afraid to eat it lol. As of now the eiffel tower has decided to crumble. I am not sure if a family member tried to taste it and it fell over or what but it was really upsetting. Anyways I didnt want a big bday deal this year just went out with my sisters and bestie. My dress I found while thrifting a while back. At first I wasnt sure about its shapelessness and thought about adding a belt or something. But then I decided the flowy shapeless look worked in a way for me. Enjoy the pics!

Yesterday was my birthday. I spent the day with the fam since it was also Father's Day. I plan to celebrate my birth with my friends this weekend. I loved the dress I chose to wear.  My friend questioned the material at the the top of my dress trying to figure out why it was puffing out. I had to explain that it was a bow which resulted in a quizzical look and then a, "OH! I see it now!" " I didnt even realize that's what it was." lol Nevertheless I like the idea of a huge vertical bow on a dress. Hope every had a great weekend!

Yesterday I took my little brother to the fair for his birthday. All day long he kept saying "but it's my birthday" anytime you asked him to do something. He is now 15 which makes me feel super old now. I also had a job interview yesterday which I dont feel so good about. Im suppose to find out by the end of next week if I got it or not. I get so nervous in interviews that I cant even think. It definitely didnt help that it was a group interview which I had never done one of those before. I am probably the only person on the planet earth that gets as nervous as I do during interviews. Anyways I hope everyone had a great week. Don't forget to get your dad a gift for Father's Day tomorrow!

teen VOGUE

I am a huge fan of Teen Vogue magazine. I have this stack of magazines that is currently getting bigger and I don't want to throw them away. In high school I would cut out ads and various photos that I liked and would cover my binders/notebooks. I decided to do the same thing again but just a little different. Voila!

Found this coffee table at a flea market and felt I could definitley make it look better. So I put the stack of magazines to use!
