outfit worn on sunday

my new sunglasses....my favorite red ones broke the other day and I almost cried lol. I am the type of person who cannot go outside or even drive without my sunglasses. I pretty much wear the same pair until they somehow get broken. And when it comes to sunglasses the bigger the better!

The best clutch ever! Although I love carrying clutches they can sometimes become a hassle.

  I usually carry my whole life with me and it never fits into my clutch. However this clutch I can practically shove everything into it.

This is the only guy I know that can wear these colors together and make it look cool. He is always rockin brightly colored POLO ensembles. I'll have to post pics of all my fashion conscious friends. almost melted

So me, my siblings and our friends decide to spend the day at the park and beach. I have no clue what we were thinking. It was so hot I seriously thought I was going to melt. The original plan was to eat lunch and then walk on the pier and play volleyball. Instead we pretty much migrated from bench to swings to another bench lol. It's like the heat just drains all of your energy and all you can do is just sit there and melt. We did have fun though taking random pics. This pic my lovely friend Tina took of me on the pier.

polka....DOTS

I just love having friends who have great style and love giving away things. This polka dotted skirt is of course from one of my friends. I just want to tell her thank you again! I got so many compliments. I was a little reluctant in wearing it at first. I mean I love polka dots, I just had never worn them like this before. I wanted to add some color and decided against red because to me black, white and red is used too much. I just happened to find my yellow belt the same day I got this skirt and thought "why not?" I hope everyone's holiday was extraordinary. I had a great time with friends and pretty much just relaxed all day. Anyways happy belated Memorial Day!

My mind is currently blank lol. How was everyone's  weekend? I enjoyed my weekend for no particular reason. Found a few cute items over the weekend during my short shopping spree. I am still planning that fashion swap party which I wont have time to have until April (yes I know that is such a long time). But it will be right before spring break which to me is a great way to get a new wardrobe for the upcoming road trips. What are your plans for spring break?

33rd

These are a  few pics from my church's 33rd anniversary. It is kind of like our own "red carpet" event. The whole month before me and my friends are constantly asking each other "what are you wearin?", "did you find shoes?", "how are you wearin ur hair?", "what colors are you wearin?" etc. Well this year I chose to wear purple. The dress is Maggy London from  Marshall's which I found at the last minute (literally) and the bedazzled boyfriend jacket is Allen B from Jcpennys. My shoes are Jessica Simpson. I loved wearing it and the half tied bow in the front gave it a unique look. I will definitely be looking for another reason to wear this again lol. Anyways what are your plans for Valentine's Day? Me? I dont have any just yet bt I am workin on it :-)
