polka....DOTS

I just love having friends who have great style and love giving away things. This polka dotted skirt is of course from one of my friends. I just want to tell her thank you again! I got so many compliments. I was a little reluctant in wearing it at first. I mean I love polka dots, I just had never worn them like this before. I wanted to add some color and decided against red because to me black, white and red is used too much. I just happened to find my yellow belt the same day I got this skirt and thought "why not?" I hope everyone's holiday was extraordinary. I had a great time with friends and pretty much just relaxed all day. Anyways happy belated Memorial Day!

My mind is currently blank lol. How was everyone's  weekend? I enjoyed my weekend for no particular reason. Found a few cute items over the weekend during my short shopping spree. I am still planning that fashion swap party which I wont have time to have until April (yes I know that is such a long time). But it will be right before spring break which to me is a great way to get a new wardrobe for the upcoming road trips. What are your plans for spring break?

33rd

These are a  few pics from my church's 33rd anniversary. It is kind of like our own "red carpet" event. The whole month before me and my friends are constantly asking each other "what are you wearin?", "did you find shoes?", "how are you wearin ur hair?", "what colors are you wearin?" etc. Well this year I chose to wear purple. The dress is Maggy London from  Marshall's which I found at the last minute (literally) and the bedazzled boyfriend jacket is Allen B from Jcpennys. My shoes are Jessica Simpson. I loved wearing it and the half tied bow in the front gave it a unique look. I will definitely be looking for another reason to wear this again lol. Anyways what are your plans for Valentine's Day? Me? I dont have any just yet bt I am workin on it :-)

How is everyone? I wanna say thanks to the new readers for their comments. I really do appreciate them. I will have outfit post from the past few days up soon. Also I am planning a fashion swap party. I have never done this before but it seems like it would be fun and you get new clothes without spending any money. It's been awhile

Happy New Year everyone!!! Yes I know its bn 2011 for about 4 days now lol. I hope everyone had fun that they can still remember. My past few weekends have been the best but with very little sleep. Have you ever done the wave with 20 plus people in IHOP? I promise it's way more fun then it sounds. Anyways I'm back and looking forward to the new year.
